Clingmans Dome, now officially renamed Kuwohi, is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the highest point in Tennessee.Located on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, Kuwohi offers breathtaking views from its observation tower, especially on clear days when you can see up to 100 miles. The hike to the tower is a steep but paved half-mile climb.
